We've definitely got one eye trained on Atlas Fallen, an action RPG from the makers of The Surge. Publisher Focus Entertainment has just debuted the first gameplay trailer for this game, and it's looking really rather good.
The trailer is only a minute and a half, but there's some nice-looking in-game footage here, with an emphasis on some showy combat. It looks as though you'll be able to wield all sorts of magic and weaponry as you go up against some large foes. We also see how you can "surf" across the desert, which will hopefully make getting around a breeze.
We're certainly intrigued to see more, and there's not long to wait. The game recently got a May release date, so it's only a couple of months away. What do you think? Are you interested in Atlas Fallen after this new trailer? Make a sand castle in the comments section below.

There's a 9 minute vid coming on Friday that'll show with a better look and explanation of what the game actually is.
@Mintie Awesome, looking forward to that.
Trailer looks great, but I won't hold My breathe on gameplay. No doubt gets spoilt on crafting, skill trees, roguelite *****. That for me "personally" is getting stale. I want games to look this good but play out similar to the original GOW games. Is it really to much to ask. Again my opinion!!
Looks gorgeous, voice acting sounds poor to be honest.
Atlas fallen does look good.its flashy.combat and magic does looks nice.word up son
Looks pretty slick! The desert surfing looks really fun and cool as well. Some of the enemy designs also look really great too. Consider myself very interested!
The desolate landscape and desert, not much in terms of life going on? Looks like a nomad Elden Ring. Some big boss lady with an ego to match. Looks nice, any other methods of transport?
@Mintie Thank you. I need to see more of the non-highlights to see if this really is something i'm interested in. But it looks cool in this hyper-cut of the best bits.
@Mintie Was gonna say... they expect us to make an informed decision based on a short gameplay trailer that only shows about 20 seconds of actual gameplay?
@brazzios_84 You act as though people don't buy games on less these days.
I think this looks like a more interesting Forspoken. Liked the Surge games. So I'm down to check this out.
Looks friggin dope, but deck 13 man...
looks like a good Forspoken
@MFTWrecks I certainly do not.
@brazzios_84 "...they expect us to make an informed decision based on a short gameplay trailer that only shows about 20 seconds of actual gameplay?"
Sure sounds like you do. Because yes, they do.
Really disliked the Surge. So definitely need to see reviews etc.
I'm past the phase where a cool looking trailer could win me over. Just lived through too much false advertising. Gonna wait for some real gameplay from the player base before I make some sort of decision.
But the trailer is setting a good mood, gonna give it that.
How the hell is that gameplay? It lasted 20 seconds and there was a few segments put together that didn't really give us anything.
It would be nice to know if this is a game versus some Co op garbage or live service scheme.
I wish announcements would lead with that..... Take notes Rocksteady.
I loved both Surge games. Deck13 has improved so much with each game. High expectations for this one!
Deck 13 needs to step up after The Surge 1,2.
They tried so hard to replicate Souls combat, but results were mediocre so far.
Hope this is better, but I willl definitely wait for review here. Or, even better if, a demo.
I am playing the Surge games atm., and if Deck 13 can keep building on their designs, this could be good. I certainly like the looks of it.
@MFTWrecks my guy, he said ‘us’ and you said ‘people’ — what is the discrepancy there I wonder. You conflated his statement on your own.
‘Us’ the people on sites like this whom make informed decisions through trailers and discourse.
Not the ‘people’ as a general statement to include anyone from simply likes the devs, desert cosplay enthusiasts, to Bob yearning for Darksiders nostalgia or random people like Mary and Joe buying little Timmy a cheaper game as a gift.
I knew what he meant just by reading the word in context…..
Forspoken 2. Looks like a flop.
@Mintie Thanks for the heads up, I'll just wait for that then.
